Jeremy Clarkson escribió en The Sunday Times que si cierras los ojos durante un concierto de Letz Zep, puedes imaginar que te encuentras realmente ante Robert Plant y Jimmy Page. Y que si, encima, los vuelves a abrir, la ilusión tampoco se desvanece. Estupendo. Como Plant y Page no nos cogen el teléfono, nos conformaremos, entonces, con la charla que OSCAR CUBILLO tuvo hace unos días con Billy Kulke y Simon Jeffreys, cantante y batería, respectivamente, de la banda tributo más conocida de Led Zeppelin.

Que por qué creasteis Letz Zep.
Billy Kulke. We have all been musicians for many years before forming Letz Zep, we wanted to continue playing music, as it's our first love. It started as a hobby at first, but grew very quickly into a proffessional touring band.
Simon Jeffreys. We created the band because we are all big fans of the Zep. We grew up listening and loving the music!!We are Europe's top Zep tribute,recreating the passion & spirit of a band,at the height of their popularity,pomp & glory in the halycon days of the 70's!!!

Que si sois unos meros clones o una banda tributo.
B.K. We chose the music of Led Zeppelin as it is our favourite band, and we wanted to be challenged musically. We do consider ourselves to be a tribute band, as that is what we do, pay tribute to the music of the best rock band of all time - Led Zeppelin.

Que qué os pareció el concierto de reunión de los auténticos Led Zeppelin.
SJ. The reformation gig was awesome. The band played a powerful set which Billy & I were lucky to catch and enjoy! Jason must have waited 40 years to play that gig and his father would have been very proud!!
B.K. Both (Simon and myself) where at the show, it was the best live gig I have ever seen. Zep where fantastic, a great choice of songs, I think they performed as if the had a point to proove, and they sure did! The audience came in from over 50 countries, the expecation was electric!

Que si creéis que Page reactivará la banda.
S.J. Led Zeppelin will play again with another singer, I have no doubt & also there may well be new material! Anything is possible with the magic & mystique of Led Zeppelin.
B.K. I'm sure he wants to. Whether with Robert or not remains to be seen. I think 2009 will see Jimmy tour with John Paul jones and Jason Bonham in some form, whether they name the band Led Zeppelin I do not know. I hear they are auditioning vocalists now, I'll let you know if I get the call, ha ha!
