The project was the idea of myself and Trevor to create a Hammond group that was different form the other bands at the time, using a bit more of a punky bongo feeling.

The drummer from Bongolian is a martial arts expert and the drummer from Big Boss Man is a disgrace and humiliation expert. Thats the main difference.

Well we are definitely not a jazz combo, there are elements of funk, garage, beat, latin and soul in the band but there are no boundaries its just the sound of Hammond, fuzz guitar and bongos. Its the sound of the sixties free love parties we go to in London every weekend.

I wish it sold more copies. People tell us that is more produced. It has more vocal tracks and more unusual instruments were used. Humanize is maybe more traditional with straight ahead Hammond Organ tracks, like "Don't You Tell My Missus" and "Bad Bad Whiskey". On Winner we have a more diverse selection of sounds.

Yes we have one(he he), infact we have a whole new LP to be released on Blow Up Records at the start of next year, the working title is Champions of Europe. We will try out a couple of the songs on this
