The Quireboys. Aprende inglés (del bueno) con Harlem

"The Spanish audiences have the best taste in music in Europe"

It was our favourite festival this year, because it was great to play with such a diverse mixture of acts that we admire, and the audience reaction was amazing!

The open air shows are always exciting because so many things are out of your control, but we just go out and give it 100% and hope for the best... and Spike can always get the crowd going! We've been doing this a few years now! Club shows are more like a party atmosphere because its our crowd...

Drink, dance, have fun..who knows what can happen tomorrow?..

We've been to Spain many times and we always really love it. We love the hospitality people show us,the food of course! And wine! I think the Spanish audiences have the best taste in music in Europe. Azkena Rock is a good example of that, the mix of bands was great: Sex Pistols, Jayhawks, Hanoi Rocks, Duff McCagan, Dinosaur Jr., Quireboys, Ray Davies! Thats a music fans dream.

Que nos cuentes algo del nuevo disco.
We're really proud of the new record. There are many different styles on there, we have fiddle, pedal steel, mandolin, etc. Also a few rockers. It was mixed by Mark Wallis, who worked with U2 and Travis, and mastered by Dan Baird of the Georgia Satellites.

Que cómo serán esta vez los conciertos.
It's going to be a show to remember! We always play every show as if it was our last. Plus these shows are the debut of our new drummer Phil Martini. See you there!
